PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

the fmt::verbatim manpage says:

        <: $buf = &wml_fmt_verbatim($file) :>

but this does not work ... 

as the verbatim function looks for $arg->{FILE}

I had to use 

<: $A{FILE}="../CONTRIBUTORS";  print &wml_fmt_verbatim(\%A); :>

which does not look very intuitive to me :-)
