Oooh,  I'll second that.  I've got menus driven by text files (to
keep it simple for my content-providers), which are parsed by
perl/wml.  I just cleaned up all my Makefiles after finally making
use of the -M option, and then realized I lost the text-file dependencies.

A "depends" directive would be smooth...
