Sorry, i can't.
Another way is to use PS fonts. I have slightly modified gFont to allow
a syntax similar to psfonts.map. For instance, i added the line
HelveticaBoldOutline ps:phvb8r Helvetica-Bold "/PaintType 2 store TeXBase1Encoding ReEncodeFont" <8r.enc
in the Fontmap file. One could try
prompt$ gfont -F HelveticaBoldOutline-24 'OUTLINED'
Any line which is valid in a .map file could be written after the
``ps:'' delimiter.
There is still no way to specify such commands on the command-line.
Any help to provide useful Postscript commands will be great, i am not
very fond of those type 1 fonts.
Thanks to John Bazik, distributions are now smaller because compiled
fonts are removed.
