Just because I said I don't have a clue? ;-))

Yes, it's 0.85. I start cpan every now and then and update the
packages, and compilied with the --with-openworld switch. Let's see how
it's working now:
make distclean
./configure --without-openworld
make
make test
make install
Well, make test didn't work on the final test (wml) in the last of the
four tests... But that happened already before. I don't think this is
really a mistake (it happened at home, also).
If you like, here is the line:
Failed Test Status Wstat Total Fail Failed List of failed
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
t/10-wml.t 4 1 25.00% 4
Failed 1/10 test scripts, 90.00% okay. 1/30 subtests failed, 96.67% okay.
Nope, same behavior here... Or is there some other way to use the 0.83
from the package than the new 0.85? It still checks for the installed
packages? What for is the --with-openworld switch then, if it's not
honoured? *scratches* Should I remove the package completely from the
perl-tree? Which files should I remove then?
Alfie [puzzled about the --with-openworld switch]
P.S.: I hope that I'm not too much of a work for you :-( But this is
really annoying...

Commitment, n.:
Commitment can be illustrated by a breakfast of ham and eggs.
The chicken was involved, the pig was committed.
