I'm sure your solution may fix individual problems, but i will try to
fix this bug in the distribution. It has already been reported on
FreeBSD. I planned to instal this OS this summer, but i did not have
time. 
It will help me if you describe on which Linux distribution this problem
occurs, with any changes you applied to your Linux box.
