NEWBIE WARNING: Is it possible to read include variables from perl

I'm pretty new in wml so now your warned.

If I include a file like this: 
#include 'bar.wml' bar="FooBar"

can I then in 'bar.wml' read the bar variable using.
(I would like to different action, based on what variable is sent)
