wml example section

I was going through the example section of the wml site, and noticed
that the .wmlrc file appears twice in the root directory, is this
supposed to be?

also, some directories also have a .wmkrc file... what is the purpose of
this?

when creating the site... how do you get it to go to subdirectories? can
wmk handle this or do you need to create a Makefile?
