Fritz, you may find useful information in
 - wml::des::navbar(3), especially description of <navbar:jsfuncs>
 - wml::std::tags(3), because <navbar:render> uses a <javascript> tag

If you need more help, put your wml source files somewhere on the web so
that i can see what's wrong.
