Bug in gfont

Dear all,

I'm trying to use gfont Version 1.0.3  to generate buttons for my new
website.
The X-Spec doesn't seems to work as expected:
   gfont -r '+200 C x 80 M'  huhu
should center the string huhu in the x-direction
   gfont -r '+200 R x 80 M'  huhu
should set the string huhu at the right border.
In both cases "huhu" is placed at the left corner.

Is this a bug or my  mistake? 
Is there a workaround ?
