I think do understand it:

Florian got http://www.engelschall.com/sw/wml/distrib/ through a proxy
and got a page that still contained a link to an obsolete
wml-SNAP-*.tar.gz (note that he tried to get the 1999-04-07T06:00
snapshot at 1999-04-08T01:15).

Maybe the server should set an appropriate Expires: header for
http://www.engelschall.com/sw/wml/distrib/.
