Problems with using <gfont>

Hi!

I have been encountering a problem while using the <gfont> tag. I
can't pin down the problem - whether it is in installation or
invocation.

The problem: While using the <gfont>H</gfont> expression in a wml file
             i am encountering the following error message.

=== ERROR MESSAGE STARTS ===

=========ERROR MESSAGE ENDS ====

It seems gfont is trying to use the installation location for
some of it's routine work.

Now
I have installed gfont in /usr/local/gfont and /usr is mounted
read-only. I see no reason why gfont needs to use that directory for
it's temporary space, when /tmp can be used.

Or is it that I am doing something wrong somewhere?

Thanks!
